Hey I’m Kai Hugo, I compose as Palmbomen and have a long history in making music and sound design for film. I scored and supervised soundtracks for films and series with HBO, HULU and A24, won the national award for best composer of The Netherlands. Also my music has been licensed to games like Grand Theft Auto V and more recently to Levi’s and Acne commercials.
Together with my long time engineer Ilias Chatziathanasiou (who has worked previously as engineer for MTV and AMC ) we created a ‘one stop shop’ for music and sound for your film, where every step of the process, from scoring and sound design, to the final mixdown, happens in one location.
